Sandbox Interactive, the developer of the much-awaited sandbox MMORPG Albion Online has announced the official launch date of the game. Not only that, the biggest content update thus far, called “Galahad” will be patched in the final beta.
Albion Online has been in beta for sometime now with more than 200,000 people already playing. The official launch date is a very welcome announcement for all the players and Sandbox Interactive has set it on July 17. But before that, in the final beta test, “Galahad” content update will be patched and tested which will begin on March 13. There will be a wipe of the test servers to bring in huge new content and improvements.
With “Galahad”, not only will the PVE system be overhauled completely to give players an even more exciting experience while battling int he world of Albion. The update will also add six (6) new biome cities, each with its own unique feel and look — Swamp City, Forest City, Highland City, Mountain City, Steppe City, and Central City.
The current beta phase will end on March 10 as the game goes into maintenance. All game progress will be wiped but as usual, Founder items, Gold purchases throught he website and referral rewards will be credited back to eligible players. By March 13, when the Albion Online goes back online, Galahad content is ready to be consumed… and tested.
